The Galaxy S21 series can switch to a polycarbonate back like on the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 FE

It is expected that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S21 series on January 14, even allowing users to pre-order in India. Recently, information about the back material of this flagship line has been revealed by YouTuber Johyun Lee from Super Roader channel.
Accordingly, the entire Galaxy S21 series will own a reinforced polycarbonate back like on the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 FE series.

Anyway, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Samsung using a plastic back for the Galaxy S21 series. But previous reports suggested that only Galaxy S21 and Galaxy 21+ could use this material.

YouTuber Johyun Lee shares the above details as a former employee of Samsung, and he used to reveal some exact details about unreleased products. Therefore, if this information is correct, Samsung will give up the glass back design for the Galaxy S series after 6 years of sticking to the introduction of the Galaxy S6 line.
