Google may launch its first foldable smartphone in 2021, competing with Samsung and Apple

It seems that 2021 will be the year to see the launch of many foldable smartphones from big companies such as OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung. And yet, analyst Ross Young recently said that Google may launch their first folding screen smartphone in 2021.
The source said, Google has been developing its folding screen smartphone for a long time and it is codenamed “Passport”. So if Google releases a foldable smartphone next year, that wouldn’t be too surprising. However, it is still unclear what the design, folding style of “Passport” will be.

Ross Young also added that the folding screen smartphones from OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and Google will be released in the second half of 2021. While Samsung will release up to 3 foldable phones next year, including even the Galaxy Z Flip Lite, but no Galaxy Z Fold Lite.
