As expected, early today (January 27), Apple released iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 versions to all iPhone and iPad users, bringing many changes, new features and important improvements. Accordingly, iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 will allow the camera on the iPhone and iPad to scan QR codes in small size, a very necessary feature. As well as now, users can manage Bluetooth connected devices more easily.
In addition, the update also fixes the keyboard and widget errors that are annoying the user.
Here are the details of the iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4 updates for iPhone and iPad:
The camera can recognize smaller QR codes.
An option to classify Bluetooth devices under Settings to determine exactly which headphones are connected to.
Appears notification when users replace third-party cameras on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
In addition, some outstanding issues through previous updates will be fixed such as:
Strange image elements can appear in HDR photos taken with the iPhone 12 Pro.
The fitness widget may not display updated activity data.
Typing may be delayed and word suggestions may not appear on the keyboard.
The keyboard may not display the correct language in Messages.
Enabling toggle controls in Ease of Access can prevent unanswered phone calls from the lock screen.
To update to iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4, go to Settings> General> Software Update. If you haven’t seen the upgrade yet, be patient for a while, as it may take Apple a little while to get the software version to all users.
